Wellspring of Hope Counseling, LLC is Loren's independent, private

practice that services individuals through in-person* and telehealth                          sessions. Loren primarily uses integrative counseling methods from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strengths Based Counseling, and Solution-Focused Counseling. Loren works with every client to create individualized treatment goals to ensure that every person has their unique needs met.

Loren has over 10 years of experience of working with children and families in a variety of settings. Since the beginning of her journey, Loren's main goal has always been building upon the strengths of every individual to support individuals and families in gaining renewed strength, an empowered spirit, and enduring hope. Loren has worked in an Outpatient Christian Counseling organization as a Marriage and Family Therapist, within the Fostering and Adoption Community, as a School-Based Mental Health Counselor, and in a Behavioral Hospital.

Loren recognizes every individual has unique needs and diverse strengths to build upon; therefore, her clinical insight is based upon a collaborative relationship to help set and meet goals that meet your specific needs. She believes healing is holistic, meaning that the Mental, Emotional, Physical, and Spiritual aspects of a person all intertwine to shape a healthy individual and family. Loren's goal is to help clients overcome life challenges through finding meaning in everyday life, joy in relationship with others, and peace through understanding and processing emotions.

Loren's approach to counseling recognizes that every individual has spiritual aspects to their overall emotional, mental, relational, and physical health. She believes that counseling is more effective when a person's faith and spirituality are incorporated into the counseling journey. She will respect your beliefs and incorporate them into the counseling process. Loren has a true passion for supporting individuals and families through difficult seasons of life that become transformed into testimonies of healing, health, and peace. She combines evidenced-based practices with spiritual components that are driven by compassion for others.

Loren lives with her husband and four children, one son and three daughters. She enjoys going camping, drinking apple cider while reading books, having movie nights with popcorn, and doing crafts with her family. She is an enthusiastic advocate for the foster and adoptive community. Just like with the clients she serves, her life is not what she envisioned it when she began her journey. Even though life can take different paths, stepping back to stay focused on the big picture combined with hard work and perseverance means that the end result of a journey can be more beautiful than originally envisioned. And hope can always lead to healing.
